One of the toughest things to get properly working for Shimmer, from design to crowd simulations, was the arrival of the blazing creatures that appear towards the end of the short film. Francisco Reséndiz outdid himself with his design proposals.

One of the toughest things to get properly working for Shimmer, from design to crowd simulations, was the arrival of the blazing creatures that appear towards the end of the short film. Francisco Reséndiz outdid himself with his design proposals.

Oliver Vera and Daniela Trejo did a phenomenal job creating the blueprints and the choreography that went into this sequence. What we came up with was a rather unique system, with every creature travelling down a path that we could manipulate in UE5.
