I originally trained as a traditional artist, centering on drawing, engraving and painting, yet my professional life has been spent working in the Mexican film, animation and visual effects industries, from independent film productions down to advertising work for large established agencies, with a strong focus on recruiting, training and managing teams for digital production.
I've worked as a VFX supervisor, producer, and director and I was a strategic partner with Technicolor for the first branch of MPC in Latin America. In 2018 I took over the direction of Escena Animation Studio, supervising the production of a dozen animated short films, including my directorial debut Shimmer, for which I won an Ariel award in 2025 for Best Animated Short Film, among several others.
Currently managing the team tasked with the creation of animated content at Escena Animation Studio.

Co-founded an independent production company that produces a handful of feature films per year to date.
As local Strategic Partner for parent company Technicolor, I assisted in establishing MPC's studio outpost in Mexico City, contributing in a wide variety of endeavors, from setting up the studio's business offices to hiring creative talent to client outreach.
Founded and managed an independent digital content creation studio. Produced and directed all the projects that came through the pipeline.
Supervised all the modeling work done on animated feature film Ana & Bruno.
Created the budget and assembled the team for the production of animated feature film Ana & Bruno during its development stage.
